CrowdStrike Cyber Simulation Real Time Workshop - Europe

 Choose your Own Adventure

Thursday, 28th November  2024

10AM - 11:30AM GMT | 11AM - 12.30PM CET

Join the CrowdStrike Incident Response Team in Europe for an exclusive live workshop, where you'll experience a hands-on cyber simulation exercise inspired by real-world adversaries actively targeting organisations today, causing widespread business disruption. This interactive session will immerse you in a simulated attack, where you’ll have a direct role in deciding the critical actions taken to contain the breach.

In this "Choose Your Own Adventure" style exercise, you’ll gain insight into the tactics used by cyber threat actors to infiltrate large, sophisticated organisations. At each step you and the decisions of over 500 further industry peers in this session will shape the course of the attack response and recovery, providing an engaging and educational experience in handling real-world cyber threats.

Scattered Spider is a particular target. The group of attackers known from the USA is becoming increasingly active in Europe.

The team focuses on attacks in cloud environments and within the supply chain.

Here is a summary of the benefits for you and your team to attend:

  • Realistic Training: Simulations provide a controlled environment to practice handling cyber incidents, mimicking real-world scenarios. This allows you to gain practical experience without the risks associated with actual breaches.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with peers promotes teamwork and collaboration, which are essential in cyber incident response. It helps participants learn how to communicate effectively and coordinate efforts under pressure.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The exercise presents challenges and questions that require quick thinking and problem-solving. This helps participants enhance their critical thinking skills, enabling them to make better decisions during actual incidents.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Interacting with peers encourages the exchange of knowledge and best practices. Different perspectives and experiences can offer new insights into cyber incident response strategies
  • Time Management: The time constraint of 60 minutes forces participants to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively, which is crucial during real cyber incidents where time is of the essence.
  • Stress Testing: Simulations can be stressful, but this stress is a valuable learning tool. It prepares individuals for the high-pressure situations they may encounter in the field.
  • Risk-Free Environment: Since it's a simulation, there's no risk of causing harm to actual systems or data, making it a safe space to learn and make mistakes.

For your information:

  • Please note that this is an interactive session, held in English.
