The Car - F1W16
The team unveiled its 2025 challenger, the revamped Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 E PERFORMANCE. The W16 builds on the learnings from its predecessor, with sizeable changes incorporated. The W16 has revised every aerodynamic surface, new front suspension, and further changes under the skin of the W16 to remedy some of the more challenging characteristics of its predecessor.
The 2025 season marks the fourth season of the current chassis regulations, and the 12th of the existing Power Unit regulations.


George Russell
From his early days in karting to his rise as a Grand Prix winner, George Russell has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in Formula 1®. After dominating junior categories, including FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2, he made his F1® debut with Williams in 2019, where his talent quickly shone through. His standout performance stepping in at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix showcased his immense potential. Joining the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team in 2022, George secured his first pole position in Hungary and claimed his maiden F1® victory at the São Paulo Grand Prix. Now a proven contender, he continues to push for success at the highest level.

Kimi Antonelli
A rising star in motorsport, Kimi Antonelli is set to make his Formula 1® debut with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team in 2025, becoming one of the youngest drivers to ever start a Grand Prix. The Italian prodigy has dominated junior categories, securing titles in Italian and German F4 before clinching the Formula Regional European Championship in his rookie season. After an impressive run in Formula 2, where he became the youngest multiple winner in series history, Kimi took his first steps in an F1® car with a practice session at Monza. Now part of the main team, he brings exceptional talent and determination as he prepares to take on the pinnacle of motorsport.
